The company Astrovitalis

Astrovitalis GmbH – based in the Allgäu since the spring of 2021, and for almost 20 years in Berlin before that – has set itself the task of helping to unfold what astrology, medicine and psychology have in common. Our mission grew out of that.

The software "astrovitalis für berater" was the company's first product. Its interpretation texts are the result of more than 40 years of counselling by Peter-Johannes Hensel.

Since 2007 we have been selling the AstroPolarity training, a distance course in astrology developed by Peter-Johannes Hensel. For more than four decades AstroPolarity teaching (APL) has stood for an independent astrological school with a genuinely holistic approach.

Since 2012 the design horoscopes have been our labour of love. With birth charts that are unique worldwide and the readings from the Astrovitalis software we want to bring even more people to serious astrology.

Peter-Johannes Hensel

From 1972 study of Eastern and Western astrology, depth psychology (initially after C. G. Jung and Wilhelm Reich) and the related forms of therapy, yoga, Western, Egyptian and Eastern philosophy – in particular the various forms of Zen Buddhism and Taoism – as well as martial arts (Wing Tsun).
Since 1977 a professional astrologer.
1978–83 studied communication science at the Berlin University of the Arts; ethnology, Japanese studies and Indian philology at the Free University of Berlin.
1981 founded the AstroPolarity training and counselling centre in Berlin, where he has since worked as head of training (more than 4,000 students, around 40,000 hours of teaching) and as a counsellor (more than 10,000 clients).
1987 published his book on correspondences and symptom pictures in medical astrology; fifth edition 2015.
1995 founded the distance-learning section and established the APL distance course, registered with the German state central office for distance learning in Cologne.
From 1996 expanded the AstroPolarity programme with a master seminar for advanced astrologers and thematic workshops.
From 2000 trained as a systemic coach in family and structural constellation work, with further training under Bert Hellinger and Sparrer/v. Kibed. ZEN astrology emerged in the same period.
2001 founded the Aufstellforum Berlin.
2002 the partnership and friendship with Martin Reiter / Astrovitalis began. He has looked after the distribution of the AstroPolarity distance courses ever since.
Since 2015 the APL media library has been growing with video and audio recordings of live seminars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

AstroPolarity teaching (APL) took shape as the essence of more than four decades of astrological experience. It rests on a depth-psychological, systemic, astro-medical and spiritually oriented approach; one of its central competences is "creative reduction".

Be like a sail spread wide that calmly waits to receive the other's wind, from wherever it may blow. Then you are free – in your work and for the other. Only in that way do truth and reality find their place, in yourself and in the other."
