2. Hosting
This website runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Technically necessary server log files are created when you visit (IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (first name, last name, e-mail address, topic, message) in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR). The form is protected against automated submissions by a proof-of-work puzzle (ALTCHA) that your browser solves locally. No data is transmitted to third parties for this and no cookies are set. The IP address of the submission is not stored; submissions are deleted automatically after 365 days.
4. Horoscope calculation, AI text generation and payment
If you have a reading calculated or purchase one in the horoscopes section, we process the birth data you provide (name, date, time and place of birth) in order to create the reading (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The calculation runs on our service api.astrolix.de. For individual text passages (e.g. personal syntheses) we use the AI language model Claude by Anthropic PBC (USA) as a processor; only the astrological data required for the reading is transmitted. Payment is handled by the payment service provider Stripe; payment data (e.g. card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe.
5. Account and sign-in
To access purchased readings you can sign in with your astrolix account. Sign-in runs via astrolix.de and sets a session cookie for the domain .astrolix.de. The legal basis is the performance of the user contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
6. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies (e.g. the Joomla session ID and the sign-in cookie). No web analytics are currently in place. Should this change, we will state it here and — where required — obtain your consent beforehand.
7. Fonts and external content
All fonts used are delivered from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third-party providers. Links to partner sites (e.g. designhoroskope.de or the order pages of the APL offerings) are marked as such; you only leave this website when you click them, and the privacy notices of the respective provider then apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data
portability and a right to object. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
